    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Mine was a company car, but I'm about to actually buy one, but not from a dealer!

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Again, mine was a company car, though I would have serviced it myself. The main dealers were utter criminals (name withheld) but needed as it is a very 'electronic' vehicle that needs to be plugged into diagnostics at each service.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Pedal position took a while to get used to, it always seemed easy to drive although the diesel engine needed to be 'pushed' to get anywhere at a reasonable speed.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Did loads to the gallon (Averaged 43mpg over 28,000 miles) and could just touch 110mph on occasions.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Always started, whatever the temperature or weather. Problems I had were the indication of 'humidity in the diesel fuel filter' which was fixed 4 times at a Fiat dealer but always came back. The ventilation fan also broke.

    5 out of 5 5.0

A bold statement. Those without strength of character should buy only anonymous cars.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

All comfy inside but the front seats weren't as supportive as in a normal car. (Cushion & back of seat had hardly any bolster).

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Well, no-one ever stole it, so it can't have been too bad!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

The main dealer in my city (a major east midlands city) had waiting lists of over 1 month for a service. They couldn't fix the error messages and messed up the warranty repair of the ventilator fan twice!
