MPG rubbish for short trips.Less than 1.6 verso it replaced!! no engine braking down hill.I sacrificed versatility for promised economy .Back to Toyota A S A P .if YOU want low mileage economy buy something else .if you feel safer with engine braking,buy abigger engine.I believe the new Mazda 2litre engine does both!
