In their own words

Buy 2nd hand like I did and this is terrific value. Loaded with practical, safe, functional options - and has some fun frivolous ones too (eg my 8 year old loves changing the colour of the ambient lighting in the footwells). Everything is fairly easy to work out how to use - even the GPS is easy to use. Performance is adequate for a big SUV and with planning can overtake fairly quick. Fuel economy is a constant average 37mpg which is acceptable for me. Loads of room for passengers and luggage, and seats seem comfortable over long distances. The cooling function is a blessing on hot days, though a little noisy. Not as quiet as claimed - on rough seal the decibel reader hits nearly 80dbs which is almost all road noise. On quiet smooth roads it is very quiet - I recorded about 70dbs. The sound cancelling system can sometimes generate a slight whine when operating and doesn't cancel out the road noise of poor quality roads. The acoustic windshield does do a good job of keeping wind noise down though. The most annoying thing about this car are the creaks and rattles that seem to constantly move round the cabin - it seems relatively well made but the fitting isn't that great with uneven joins. When on a quiet piece of tarmac with the music off the rattles get very frustrating. My last car was a Kia and it never had any of these annoying rattles or buzzes. The handling is comfortable if you take your time but winding roads will have passengers rolling around so prepare the sick bags. This is not a sporty vehicle even with claimed sports suspension. In saying that I've driven plenty of SUVs and it really isn't any worse than others for handling. The auto-parking function is pretty woeful and scraped my alloys the first time I used it to parallel park. The auto-dimming function on the headlights is dreadfully slow so really good at dazzling on-coming vehicles and doesn't work when following other vehicles - prepare to have truck drivers go into full rear foglight mode when driving behind them. The LED headlights are super bright though and the cornering function is pretty good. The rapid clear windshield works well on cold days but it has a strange weave through it which causes slight blurring of street lights when driving at night. So if you don't mind a few rattles (or just turn up the music) this is a good value, well equipped car.
