Ford Fiesta Active: will my Isofix child seats fit?

The Active should prove a very safe car. It’s effectively identical to the regular Ford Fiesta, which scores a maximum five stars in Euro NCAP’s crash tests. That’s why we’ve used its results in this review, and show its crash test video below.

The Fiesta Active is available as a five-door only, and sits 18mm higher than the regular Fiesta.

That means there's a very slight advantage when it comes to visibility, while the extra bits of black plastic around the body could mean a little extra protection for any bumps and scrapes.

In all other respects, interior space is identical to the regular Fiesta.

Euro NCAP provides motoring consumers with a realistic and independent assessment of the safety performance of some of the most popular cars sold in Europe. The safety ratings are determined from a series of vehicle tests, designed and carried out by Euro NCAP. These tests represent, in a simplified way, important real life accident scenarios that could result in injured or killed car occupants or other road users.
