In their own words

Bought a like for like replacement for my 66 focus titanium. This car is light years ahead of the predecessor in terms of responsiveness, economy and safety features. From the moment the engine starts up, it is so quiet that you have to look at the rev counter to make sure it is running. As soon as you engage first gear it feels much more eager than my previous focus and the pick up is smooth through every gear change. The gear selection prompter tends to come on a little early when you are progressing through the gears or on an incline, but it is not something I generally take much notice of. The handbrake is now an electronic switch, so does not have the "feel" of the old lever, however I like the hill start assist that prevents roll-back on hills when the handbrake is taken off. The system is fine once you have used it a couple of times. The parking sensors front and back are useful as are the sensors that alert you when you are closing too quickly on a perceived hazard. The updated infotainment and navigation system is a marked improvement over the previous model and the car is also far roomier inside, especially for rear passengers. I cannot find fault with this car, maybe the rear wiper switch could be less fiddly.
