Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

From the moment I drove one I knew it was the car for me. Starting with the positive things, it’s spacious got a large boot comes well equipped. As an ST3 it’s got plenty of creature comforts but still feels stripped back and raw. Heated seats with quickclear front and rear screens for convenience, whilst have no cruise control to remind you it’s a sports hatch. The rumble from the exhaust on start up is a giddy feeling, always reminding you of what is it. Power and acceleration are brilliant, especially in the higher gears when you can see the boost gauge twitching. The negatives are the awful MPG, I average 26MPG which today isn't good, and compared to other hot hatches of the same era isn’t a great selling point. Another drawback is it’s wobbly in tight corners, it’s heavy front and soft suspension means you feel all the body roll. Overall and great car, but the hardest part about owning one is finding the right one. Plenty have been used and abused, getting one that’s been cared for means you’ll end up in the place I am, loving the fact you’re at a petrol station once a week with a smile on your face.

How reliable do you find the car?

Car hasn’t asked for anything other than service items. Only work I’ve had somebody is tyres, brakes and 2 services and a timing belt.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Great power and acceleration, shows even better at the top end when the turbo and 5 cylinders are in harmony. Good in most corners, can feel the body roll in tighter corners.
