What does this car say about you?

With the chrome front grill, round lights, i think it says i like flash motors, and like the idea of showing off, the size of the engine and body, i think it says im not interested in being enviromentally friendly, however, it is the vehicle that I am happy with and I don't believe another 4x4 could do the same job.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it is perfect for my personality and they think it says a lot about me. however they also think it was time for an upgrade but all I can say is atleast my maverick doesn't fail the MOT unlike there newer cars.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would definitely buy this car again, it is a shame they changed this model in the 2000's and made it more car like, but this model is ideal for anything, it can handle the winter, towing is never a problem and it looks very flashy no matter what the age.

What are you likely to buy next?

It is unlikely I will be replacing this maverick anytime soon, but in time I think it will be replaced with another ford and likely to be an American ford.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I believe i got a good deal for what i got, it had at that time good mileage and it was the make i wanted.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Nearest i could get to a ford bronco in the uk at that time, plus it looks a beauty and sounds great.

What was the dealer like?

Very friendly and accommodating.

What's it like to drive?

Luxurious to drive, cruises easily, but also has loads of power left to overtake or go up hill, not a problem in the town.

What's it like to park?

Considering the length and height of the vehicle it is very easy, providing you remember this, i have never had a problem parking, in the handling when it is being parked its a bit ike a mini very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing out of the ordinary, the usual wear and tear for a ford maverick of its age, new starter, power steering pipes, BRAKES (FRONT & REAR), TYRES, EXHAUST,.

What's most practical about your car?

IT HAS A DECENT SIZE ENGINE FOR THE UK, GREAT FOR TOWING, LOADS OF SPACE, BEST 4X4 IN THE UK.

Towbar, electric windows, electric mirrors and heated mirrors.
