In two words - confident and classy. I love driving her and I feel great when I'm behind the wheel.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would but unfortunately Ford don't make the ST Mondeo at this point in time, which is a real shame.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly a Seat Leon Supa Copa or a BMW 1 but I'm not in any rush to change her for a new model.

Did you get a good deal and why?
We part exchanged a Zetec S Mondeo which was in good condition with full service history and because of this we got a good deal on the ST.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
A good family car with all the extras and sporty. It has everything I was looking for in a car.
What was the dealer like?
It was a main dealer in Basingstoke, Hampshire. They were very helpful and provided us with a good service.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Even after having it for 6 years she still drives like a dream. She responds very well and pick up of speed on motorways is virtually instant. She is a good workhorse and because of her performance I've yet to find another car in her class that I really like; hence the reason for keeping her so long.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park although I still if I'm reversing into a space because I struggle to gauge how long she is. All too often I fall far short of the parking bay but I would rather get out and check then cause damage to mine or another persons car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
We have had a problem with the clutch and engine management light. Due to the low mileage in the car when the clutch went our local Ford dealer replaced it free of charge. We paid for the engine management problem but I feel that again our local dealership were very fair in their pricing.
What's most practical about your car?
It's size - we can fit 3 adults in the back quite comfortably which is what we need. The boot is also a very good size. It is also economical to run being as its a diesel.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love the six gears - so much so that I wouldnt buy another without 6 gears in the future. And the 6 disc CD player is also a bonus.
