What does this car say about you?

Family man who hasn’t given up the hope of having a bit of fun!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They generally like the car as a whole, but that doesn’t bother me, I didn’t buy it for them!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. The space, practicality and driving experience has been everything and more that I required. I like the car for its styling and road presence as well the ability to make driving still fun.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Same again but newer plate/model.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Expecting our 3rd child and needed the space and practicality that the S-Max offered, more importantly I still wanted a car that was enjoyable to drive, this car answers all of those needs.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Great, for the size and type of car it’s still a fun car to drive. Handles well in both civilised and ‘energetic’ driving scenarios and rides well when loaded or single occupancy.

    What's it like to park?

Relatively easy thanks to the parking sensors, although rear 3/4 view is a bit compromised by the large C-pillars.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

We had a Dual-Mass flywheel failure which resulted in us getting that and the clutch replaced, apparently a common occurrence when hitting the 50k mile mark. Whilst it was quite expensive it was to be expected.

What's most practical about your car?

Space, and the 3 separate rear seats which recline and slide independent of each other.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Simple… bluetooth allowing iPhone connectivity.
