In their own words

The Looks • This is probably the best looking 7 seater in it’s class. It is sleek but beefy, classy yet slightly sporty… • The bi-xenon headlamps look great and provide bright vision at night. • I have 19” alloys which keep me firmly planted on the road and look great. • The kids love the colour range of ambient lighting on the inside. The Drive & Performance • The drive is extremely light and nimble and you could be forgiven to thinking you are driving a little fiesta. • On the motorway the drive is really comfy and with the lane assist keeping you in lane, it is very safe too. • I have the 180bhp version and the power is adequate. But if you were looking for a more responsive ride you can get a full ECU Re-Map for as little as £250 from a local specialist which gives you better acceleration, better torque and increases the mpg so well worth the money if you and going from a sporty hatch to a large family bus. The up sides • My S-Max has the All Wheel Drive system (AWD) and it does stick to the road much better especially in the snow. • There is a lot of kit provided in the S-Max, heated seats, cruise control, DAB, driver assist and it can even parallel park itself for you! • After owning the car for one month now I’m still discovering hidden storage compartments!! The down sides • The stereo is nothing like as good as a Bose or Bang & Olufsen and I think Ford could have provided a few more speakers and a sub woofer for additional bass (not all S-Max drivers are old and dislike loud music!) But if you do love your music, for around £149 you can purchase a Pioneer TS-WX130DA Under Seat Subwoofer Amplifier Space Saving Car Bass Box Sub which does give a much better sound. • When I bought the car there was no Sat Nav SD Card provided so I went to FORD dealership to enquire…. The price for the SD Card was £172 which is quite expensive. But if you look around on the web site you can pick one up much cheaper. I would thoroughly recommend this car if you have a large family like myself…..
