I paid £2300 for the car one owner with 65k miles. I think very good value for a car with this spec.
Costs
As I haven't needed to buy anything for the car or have it serviced, I can only comment on the fuel economy. With a mixture of motorway and round town miles, much of it with the a/c on, I averaged 31 mpg, which I think is pretty good for a 2.2

On the road
Driving
Very nice drive. My only critiscism would be that there is a fair amount of road noise, although this could be down to the tyre manufacturer.
Performance
Quite quick when you want it to be.

For an estate car I like the styling but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Comfort
Very comfortable so long as you use the proper leather conditioner so you don't slide around! Only other slight gripe is that the drivers arm rest is just too low for me to be of use.
