In their own words

After much consideration and already being Impressed by my k20 z4 engine in my type R, I finally settled my choice on a Honda crv as a second work horse. I looked at mkVlll, but so glad my budget could only stretch to a mkvll. I was faced with a choice, my pick of mkvVll or the bargain basement of mkVlll. Now I would actually choose the model. I have an immaculate example. I'm amazed how well these CRVs age! The reputation of the PU's proceed themselves. My 2.0 petrol unit is lovely, apparently the diesel is also a superb unit - for the diesel unit and my 2.0 petrol I noted it's completely common to see these engines clock well over 200,000 miles, and with regular prevention maintenance much more I'm sure. I have an automatic with cruise control, the ride is amazing! Nice arm rests, I've never been so relaxed on long journeys. Tbh I just can't fault it!!! On the underside the few CRVs I looked at didn't seem to suffer which much rust problems at all, in fact I've seen worse on much newer vehicles, and I've seen a few. The rear seats are very adjustable allowing for different boots capacity. There is just not alot I can't fault tbh - a cracking all rounder. When I bought this I researched and picked carefully, but I must say even though my expectations were high, it's surpassed my expectations.
