In their own words

Overall, I have been disappointed with my first (and last) Honda. To be fair, it is engineered quite well but suffers from a shocking amount of corrosion-my previous and much older vauxhall didn't have any! The main fault which started shortly after the warranty expired turned out to be a corroded turbointercooler, shortly after that a corroded fuel pipe on top of the fuel tank started letting air into the diesel (apparently quite a common problem but really expensive to have diagnosed), then various electronic relays needed replacing etc...etc.... The body panels and trim are all a bit fragile and break or dent with ease. On the good side, when the engine is running well, it is really quite impressive how it manages to be so quick and economical (I average about 47mpg), the handling is superb for a car of this type, though the ride is quite hard. The tech and toys are great and so far all work as they should. The boot is deceptively large and can easily fit 2 sets of golf clubs, or when the rear seats are folded away 2 mountain bikes.
