Value
All good value but go for low miles.
Costs
Shop around for parts, some are main dealer only and expensive alot are now available at good motor factors.

Driving
A firm ride but goes round corners well at speed not like the Discoveries that roll over.
Performance
Cruses at 80 up and down hill. Will do 100 but drinks fuel.

Reliability
Always starts and gets me home, exhausts every two years water pump every 70,000.

Reliability and power make up for poor image.
Comfort
Heated seats nice; air-con a must. I drive for five hours and still feel fine.

Get a good alarm and immoboliser fitted. My first Trooper was stolen never seen again!

Only been to dealer once very expensive labour and parts.
