In their own words

It’s a very capable car let down by the dealer service. At first I missed the practicality of my previous Freelander 2 but gradually I got used to the luxury rather than the practicality. I initially had a problem with the Sat Nav but was sorted with a new download. The only thing I feel isn’t satisfactory is that the front parking aid doesn’t work unless you select reverse! The economy is excellent and driving down Spain is a pleasure. It’s a shame the Spanish dealer has been more responsive than the British dealer.

How reliable do you find the car?

Early problem was with the air conditioning and the local dealer at first said not covered by guarantee as just needed regassing but later did agree it was covered. Unfortunately, there was a problem not spotted but was subsequently fixed under guarantee in Spain. The second problem was after guarantee ran out when the ABS module failed and there was no new part in Europe. Eventually fixed and Jaguar met 40% of the cost.
