What does this car say about you?

Owning a car likes this gives you such a good feeling every time you sit in it and turn the ignition. I think owning a jaguar shows you appreciate a marque which is beginning to make a name for itself.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

When I first drove the car home, all my neighbours remarked what a good looking car it is. My friends think it is a superb car and it certainly gets attention on the road. I have had people at petrol stations/ supermarket car parks come up to me to ask about it.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I traded my 10 plate Jaguar XF 3.0D S for the F Type Coupe with Lancaster Jaguar in Sevenoaks who at the time were offering £1000 off the new model and together with 50/50 zero interest presented the best deal at the time. A little disappointed with the trade in price given for my old car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Previously had an XF S but just wanted a sports car.

What was the dealer like?

Lancaster Sevenoaks were very efficient and professional. The big plus was being able to substitute my specification in a stock order thus reducing the waiting time to delivery to barrly 5 weeks.

What's it like to drive?

The car performs well in town conditions with perhaps a slightly hard ride - especially on 20inch 295/30 wheel setup. I love twisting country roads where the car's precise steering and handling comes to its own together with active management of gears from the 8 speed automatic gearbox.

What's it like to park?

I have the rear camera parking aid as well as sensors in the front and I find parking reasonable easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Car has performed totally faultlessly in the 6 months+ I have owned and driven it.

What's most practical about your car?

From a practicality aspect, the car probably won't suit anyone with a family - after all it is a two seater, high performance car. As such, it is a superb piece of engineering and a total looker!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The adaptive headlights work really well at night. Fully adjustable seats are so good and a boon in long journeys.
