What does this car say about you?

Its diffrent last of the great jag shapes. you know straight away its a jag unlike the new ones. i think they changed the shapes to capture more of the market share. they sold out.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife likes it. friends think im posh. which im not i just like quality. and reliability.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I might. i still like mercs and mercedes not for the styling so much. but the quality.

What are you likely to buy next?

If money was no object. a rolls royce or a bently. but them days have gone so may be a secondhand merc or bmw.

Did you get a good deal and why?

The cars done 55k when i bought it. 2 owners from new just kept in the family. full jag history in stunning british racing green. with 17 ince sport alloys. with light beigh leather.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I fancied a change from mercedes benz.

What was the dealer like?

The poor chap i bought it from had suddenly died. it had been sitting on the drive and they just wanted rid off. to many memorys i guess.

What's it like to drive?

It drives better than a c class merc its better than a E class and it drives better than a 5 series bmw. i know because ive owned 3 series 5 and the 7 series witch is a great car apart from 1996 to 2001 engine problems piston slap. thats why i bought another merc in 2000. ive also owned a bently turbo r and a s. class im a seasoned driver. who knows his cars.

What's it like to park?

Its 16 feet in lenth. that bigger than a e class merc but with the parking assist no problem if you can find a big space.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The electric window broke after about 2wks. common on s type. ford crappy parts bin wonder. one thing i dont like is the delay when putting into drive. it takes longer than my merc and ive had s class c class and 190e all great cars. the jag drives better than my c class. but it would have been a great car if ford had put better quality parts on the car.

What's most practical about your car?

The car is a good all rounder. the 60/ 40 split seats are good for geeting long thing in the car like skis or curtain polls etc.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The electric window wipers also the cruise control. bit strange you have to switch it on every time you get in the car. and if you do 40mph or 50mph it keeps changing gears up hill witch is annoying. cruise keeps the mileage up so using lees fuel and a lovely gentle drive.
