Jaguar S-Type (1999 - 2007) 3.0 V6 SE 4d Auto (99) Owner Review

I bought this as a cheap stop gap runaround. I have now kept it as I like it so much and is my vehicle of choice when I don't need the carrying capacity of my van. There is plenty of pull form the 3.0 V6 and the auto box is smooth. The fuel consumption is as low as I expected but I knew that when I bought it so I am not unhappy. My friends like it and say it is very quite to ride in (until I drop the window to hear it purr) I would change it for the 4.2 V8 version if I saw one at the right price but as far as I am concern, it has now become a long term vehicle for me and not the short stop gap it was intended for.
