Without a doubt. It's no longer in production but if the need arose to replace it I'd have no hesitation.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. Held out for a full one year Merc used car warranty albeit the car's a Jaguar.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Lost patience with unreliability of various Audis and a Merc. Love the appearance and interior.

What was the dealer like?

Good.

What's it like to drive?

Extremely stable handling. Ride is a wee touch firm but that's off set by the handling. 6 speed auto box in tandem with the 2.2 diesel's torque gives lots of shuve. Manual mode especially so. Great visibility - slim A pillars, you see.

What's it like to park?

A breeze. Front and rear sensors are brilliant.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Erratic idle. Sorted by reprogramming the injectors at local Jaguar main dealership.

What's most practical about your car?

Black leather interior. Boot size.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Digital display touch-screen controls. Front/rear parking sensors.
