In their own words

Very comfortable, smart, attractive car with great acceleration and speed. Only downside is the dpf,it tends to block easily if you do too much stop/start driving. Motorway driving cures it,but if you’re only going to use the car for short trips then a petrol version would be better. No car is perfect but the Jaguar XF is not far from it in my opinion. If you want a large luxury executive style car for reasonable running costs it ticks a lot of boxes. The xf is well built and reliable, although I did have the alternator suddenly fail on me. If you prefer manual cars then you might not want an XF as they are all automatic only, but the auto box is very good and if you like changing gear for a more involved driving experience it does have a manual mode operated by steering column paddles, but no clutch. There are some good ones around at reasonable prices second hand, if you buy a well looked after one with a full service history you won’t regret it.
