Jaguar XJ Saloon (1994 - 2003) 4.0 Sovereign 4d Auto (LWB) (95) Owner Review

I purchased thisone previous owner Jaguar with 26k on the clock and used if for nice sunny summer days only. I had a new C-class 3-years ago and wanted to send it back becasue the suspension felt really hard and bumpy. BUT, I was comparing it to my P Plate (December 1996) 4.0 LWB Sovereign. What a dream car! It really is special and drives like a dream, in fact it floats. I wish I could post an image as it looks fantastic in A1 condition. I would not want 25mpg for everyday driving, in fact, for me, I would not want to drive it everyday as it is not a local runaround car. It would be too long and I'd be worrying about car park dents! I have it serviced every year and I would recommend this model as being reliable and great value for money. I think it was £50k new, I recently had it detailed in a place where they were doing Clarkson's Ferrari and they said they had never seen a Jag of this age in such good condition...Go for it....you know it makes sense!
