A fantastic long distance tourer that brings driver and passengers to every destination completely unstressed. Tremendous performance and smooth power delivery thanks to supercharged 4-litre six and, in my case, manual gearbox. It looks great from every angle - the ultimate version of Sir William Lyons' XJ series. Eat your hearts out Mercedes-Benz (not Daimler, that's part of Jaguar) and BMW ................
