In their own words

My third Kia Ceed the others being 2009 and 2015 petrol 1.6 autos. This latest Kia Ceed is better built and more refined and an improvement in almost every aspect . The build quality is much improved with better use of plastics inside. The fuel economy is better but not by much when nearly all my driving is around town. The latest car performs better than the previous cars even though the engine is a 1.4 but turbo charged. In Sport mode its quite rapid and will satisfy all but the most ardent boy racers. Theres more room in the latest car being slightly wider than the previous models. The tech is much improved with a huge central radio and sat nav display. However not all the tech may be to your liking. The autostop and lane assist is for me quite irritating but at least you can turn it off. Theres an anticollision function which warns you by bleeping at you if you approach vehicles too quickly if you are not braking. This is more an issue about driving style so you may have to modify the way you drive . The tyres on the Blue edition are low profile 17 inch ones which give enormous amounts of grip in the bends but the ride is noticeably harsher than in my smaller wheeled other Ceeds. On normal rough English roads my 2015 Ceed has a better ride than the newest car. The new car came without a skinny spare just a compressor and can of tyre sealant. You can buy a spare if you prefer carrying around a tyre. Theres no underfloor plastic tray as in my 2015 Ceed in the boot if you buy the spare tyre but plenty of height to store away items that you may wish to carry. My passengers tell me theres more headroom in the back . Its still a tightish fit for three adults in the rear. Style wise this is an attractive car and the Blue colour is quite bright and appealing. The new Ceed isnt a very cheap car but with its 7 year warranty for me wanting a reliable practical hatch its a no brainer. Kia PCP packages are excellent.
