In their own words

I had heard of the problems with this car before I bought, but assumed it was just a few very vocal cases. It’s not - this was a short lived (6 week) ownership experience that I never wish to repeat. We knew the history of the car we were purchasing, but literally as the warranty expired, the problems began. 5 issues in 6 weeks of ownership, including the beginnings of the well-documented gearbox failure that necessitates replacement at a huge cost, multiple DPF issues, despite only ever being used on longer runs and a thirst for AdBlue to equal an HGV. 7 seats in name only, the rearmost seats can’t be used for even small children. The boot is tiny for such a large car and the infotainment is sluggish, buggy and feels like it is out of the 90s. Customer service is non-existant at the snobbish dealerships. If you want to be treated as a second-class citizen, Buy one of these car. The dealerships exist solely to shift new, higher cost vehicles to image-conscious customers who change their car annually. The only redeeming features were a smooth, if underpowered diesel motor and good noise insulation and a comfortable smooth ride. The gear change was hesitant and never feels like it’s in the right gear. Bought to tow a caravan, but never did due to a total lack of confidence in what is an overpriced, poorly developed piece of fragile jewellery. My advice - look at other brands for your 7 seat MPV.
