Yes, brilliant.

It's a keeper. Only contender is the new Disco sport, it looks the same but with a bigger boot. Evoque nicer inside though.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a bigger car, to take up family duties and holiday trips. We looked at Ford Kuga's and Audi Q range. The former was almost the same price when comparing the spec and the Audi's were boring inside. By comparison the Evoque looked really fresh and felt really upmarket inside.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly and knowledgable salesman, genuinely passionate about the brand, but he was far too busy. Callbacks were always a problem, on spec visits impossible. Receptionist had little customer relation skills. Had the car fours years now, Service staff are awesome and new receptionists very friendly.

What's it like to drive?

Comfortable, relaxing with enough power to get up to motorway speeds and overtake with ease.

What's it like to park?

Rear parking sensors standard so fine there. However hard to judge front, so get front sensors if you can - we are always miles away as it looks closer than it is! It's also really wide so in the UKs teeny tiny spaces you worry about parking dings all the time.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Eco stop/start never really worked correctly - far too intermittent. Other than that, nothing at all!

What's most practical about your car?

It's a wide car, so very spacious up front. Boot OK but maybe only Ford Focus size.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

DAB radio is brilliant!
