Economy
Value
Personally, I think it is outstanding value for money. Maserati are priced very reasonably these days to create a bigger market share - market share which they lost in the mid 90s owing to the reliability issues of the cars between mid 80s to mid 90s.
Costs
The usual for any V8 that produces 390 horses. Having said that, with the current 6 speed transmission you can get pretty good mileage if are not too throttle happy.

Driving
It is simply an awesome drive. It has the comfort levels of an XK8 with 360 performance
Performance
Amazing. Surpasses the 3200 I had previously.

Living with it
Reliability
I took a leap of faith when I got my 3200. It worked out very well. I had no problems with it even though I had got it second hand. My pleasant experience with the 3200 made my decision on the 4200 a no brainer. Maserati have certainly turned the corner.

Understated elegance, a driver's car and only those who are in the know will appreciate it. exactly how I like it!
Comfort
Very good for a performance car. Certainly better than the 996 C2 I had previously.
