In their own words

DVLA say only 48 registered so more exclusive than most Ferraris. Everybody loves a Maserati , no negative responses from anyone , people talk to you at petrol stations, traffic lights, gets photographed a lot. I've always liked Italian kit , and have reached a Maserati via a Lancia and 3 alfas . By far the best car I've ever owned, down sides are eye wateringly expensive parts (£104 for a window switch , £500 for an ignition barrel and key) however , show it a quiet open stretch of road with no one looking , nail it and pull for the next gears at 7000 ,.it's so worth it , the sound of that Ferrari built V8 is magnificent. If you get a chance to own one or just have a go in one , grab it . Had mine for nearly a year now and monitoring prices shows an increase in value , they are not making any more . A shame to see a great marque following the crowd with an SUV , but a diesel option ? Really? Hope to see a worthy successor to my Gransport soon .

How reliable do you find the car?

Bought from Richard Grace , he only sells the finest examples .

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

First car I've owned with paddle shift . Found to be intuitive to use , as long as you stay away from parellel parking its fine. Auto option is hopeless though , heads for 6th as soon as it can , then gets confused when speed drops or you floor it . Stick to paddle use and leave sport mode engaged, great whoop of revs on down changes .
