Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Test drove just about every car in the class. Had it down to the Focus ST Line, VW Golf and the Mazda. Chose the Mazda based on it being the best handling and the most fun to drive. Love the comfortable interior where everything is within easy reach and the car feels like an extension to myself; Mazda really are delivering on their "Jinba Ittai" philosophy. Infotainment system is a bit behind the times in some ways, most notably not offering Android Auto or Apple Carplay although there's some hope that may change soon. However, it is very easy to use and once stopped expecting a large VW touch screen, I realised how much a prefer the centre console wheel arrangement in the Mazda, which makes it much easier to operate the system without having to reach and fumble 'round a touchscreen. Had read all the hype about Focus' driving ability but it really is well off the Mazda's pace. Focus is easily unsettled and turn-in is less assured than the Mazda that always feels planted. If driving enjoyment is important to you, then make sure to test drive a Mazda3 before choosing anything else.

How reliable do you find the car?

Only had it a week so too soon to tell.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

That cabin is such a nice place to be. Love driving around, whether its listening to my favourite podcasts on a relaxed cruise, or a more spirited drive chasing roundabouts and favourite turns. This car just gets better the more I drive it.
