In their own words

Bought this used to replace my BMW 335i Convertible which had served me well but started to leak - wife said I needed a "family" car that we can get the kids bikes in the back of - I always knew whatever estate I bought was going to be a disappointment after the 335i - having previously owned a BMW 325i Touring which I liked I was looking for something similar - as I don't do high mileage I couldn't justify the stupid prices being asked for mediocre 320d tourings never mind anything better so started to look beyond my usual "premium" brands. Had a couple of Mazda MX-5s in the past and had loved them both plus they were both bullet proof reliability so Mazda was a familiar reliable brand plus the Mazda 6 has really got the looks sorted - it's a good looking car, especially in the Soul Red metallic colour. White leather interior is beautiful plus lots of gadgets like reversing camera, head up display etc really add value - drive is nothing special (at least after the 335i anyway) but it's okay - got the 19" wheels which look the business but do come with a very hard ride. All in all very happy with it as an affordable usable car, interior is beautiful and far beyond many premium cars at much higher prices. Just wish they did a decent petrol engine with decent auto box - but at least Mazda has always made lovely manual boxes and this is almost as good as the MX-5s!
