• Summary

What does this car say about you?

It says you value the driving experience over the practicality.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My father likes it because it is like a "reliable Spitfire". Being a young male student, my friends wheeled out the hairdresser jokes when I got it, but now they all seem to love it. The pop-up headlights mean that a lot of my more car savvy friends recognise it as a tribute to the great 60s roadsters.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, because it gives you all the joys of old fashioned open top motoring without any of the reliability issues.

What are you likely to buy next?

Lotus Elise (when I am old enough to be insured on one!)

    What's it like to drive?

Absolutely great. It has got to be one of the best handling cars ever. Just be careful on damp roads as you can quite easily find yourself facing the direction you came from if you push it.

    What's it like to park?

Great, the steering lock is nearly as good as a Spitfire, which, let's be honest, had a ridiculously tight turning circle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Never let me down. Soldiers on through all weathers.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing, that's all part of the charm!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The electric windows (because they are the only accessory!)
