Genuinely nice car spoiled by poor reliability. I don't think it is a good idea to keep the car beyond its standard warranty. Maybe I just got a bad one which can happen. It has been a painful ownership experience over the last 4 months and I have now decided to trade in.
How reliable do you find the car?
Car had only 3000 miles when I bought it. Catalogue of 9 separate faults have developed over the space of 4 months. (Suspension, knocking when decelerating, ambient lighting, alarm, misfire, speakers, heating system, parking sensors, multiple rattles) Unfortunately, the dealer was not able to find half of the problems because they are intermittent. The problems they could find were dealt with efficiently. The car has been in for repair 5 times in this short space of time.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It is a lovely car that drives well, nice interior that feels well built, excellent upgraded infotainment, quiet on motorways, quick with good MPG to boot. Generally a very nice car that has otherwise been spoiled by poor reliability. Overall feel let down by the car. I really wanted to like it and gave it many chances but now I've had enough and have decided to trade in for a 1series.About their car
