You need to find one with the optional valved exhaust (£1000 option from new). Makes no sense at all buying this car to keep it quiet. Sounds phenomenal. Could do with a little more punch on the motorway but 510 bhp is still plenty. Would recommend Pilot Sport 4S tyres, they feel very sticky and the back becomes very controllable and predictable. Something within the dash creaks going over speed bumps. Common issue, not easily rectified. Pros: Noise; speed; handling Cons: Poor economy for Merc's "most efficient V8"; some rattles; minor build quality issues
