Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe (2011 - 2015) practicality
Just like the saloon, safety is high on the agenda. Ten driving assistance programmes are available including Attention Assist and Active Bonnet, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Distronic Plus and Pre-Safe, active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Speed limit Assist. In addition to this there are seven airbags as standard. The C-Class Coupe achieved the maximum five stars in Euro NCAP crash tests.
At best the Coupe is a 2+2 rather than a four-seater because the rear is really only suitable for small children. If you need practicality you’ll be wiser to opt for the saloon or the estate version. There are plenty of cubbies to keep your loose change from sliding around and the glove box is a good size. The boot is average at 450-litres with the seats in place.
This is trumped slightly by the Audi A5 which has 455-litres of space with the seats in place, while the BMW 3-Series Coupe has a smaller load space – only 440-litres of luggage room.
