In their own words

First off the good points after 18 months of owning, it's quick, very economical, looks great, mechanically a good car (if a little tractor like and doesn't sound premium), love the automatic gearbox... Now the bad... the panoramic roof... starting playing up a couple of months after I had it, at first it struggled to closed, now I've given up with it entirely and don't touch it (horrible noises when closing not opening, not closing, think both gears are stripped and rails blocked), as the warranty i have specifically doesn't cover it, the specialist I take it says it could cost £'000s to fix so it's staying that way, the parcel shelf load cover motor broken (£400 to fix?!), and the bonnet latch has been replaced yet keeps refusing to open (normally when I have run out of screenwash), brutally expensive to service - far more so than BMW, volvo (basically anything I've owned before, and even after a long run (I drive to harrogate weekly from the midlands), feels like it's cleaning the dpf by taking all the throttle response then feeling like it has massive turbo....... lag...., oh and it seems to have the rattles somewhere... I may well have a Friday afternoon car, I'm not having a Mercedes again... as nice as it is to drive... I'll be buying BMW or Volvo next... just not a merc - really really disappointed.
