Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2007 - 2014) C180 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY SE 4d Auto Owner Review

The car is comfortable, easy to drive, very quiet and reliable. Bad points are that it’s a heavy car and a 1.8l engine has to push hard, hence the far from excellent MPG. It’s far from sluggish, but the auto box is slow to react compared to modern boxes. It hasn’t got many driver aids that you’d expect but it is far from the top model. You get what you pay for, or not quite. If I was to swap it for anything for the same year and price, I honestly don’t know what I’d get. Nothing as comfortable or quiet (peaceful) to drive. It’s gone through 2 MOTs with the same advisories now. Rear brake lines showing corrosion and front suspension bushes worn. To be expected in an 11 year old car.
