My previous Mercedes, some years ago, was an E class that performed faultlessly for 80k. Now, after a series of BMWs, I have returned to MB and we are very pleased with the car. It is quiet, comfortable, spacious and economical with mid-40's easily obtainable on a run. My only gripe is the infotainment system that is particularly clunky to operate in comparison to other German brands.
How reliable do you find the car?
After a series of EML lights, usually at around 2 week intervals, I registered the fault with MB UK and the next time it went into the main agents they found a broken multi-plug in the engine bay. Hopefully that has solved the problem which, in truth, was more of an irritation than a major failure.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I don't have the world's best back so have sometimes struggled to find a car seat that works for me but I find the C class extremely comfortable. It is also spacious and does everything that we require of it.About their car
