Mercedes Benz represents quality and prestige. The car is built well and has a powerful and refined engine in a compact, sporty and practical package. It's like wearing your best clothes. I hope it says I'm smart, discerning and not too flash !!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it !
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. It ticks all the boxes for me whilst being compact and easy to drive for my partner who prefers a small car. Its a big car in a small package.
What are you likely to buy next?
It's hard to say at the moment because it's a couple of years away. This is not the first Mercedes though and it won't be the last.

Yes, I wouldn't have dealt otherwise. Car was exactly what I wanted and got what I wanted for trade in (after a little negotiation).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Always a pleasure to drive, that's why I wanted the 3.2litre V6. Handles like a sports car with ample power to put a big smile on the face. ESP would flatter even the most erratic boy racer. The auto box adapts to driving style and can be shifted munually with a flick of the lever.
What's it like to park?
Car gets a lot of stick for visibility through rear split window but I think thats unfair. The rear is short and the lower perspex window gives a clear view of whats behind. Very easy to park and my partner finds it easier than her Fiat Punto !

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Headlight Level adjusment and Cigar Lighter stopped working (seperate incidents). Both repaired under warranty whilst I waited.
What's most practical about your car?
Compact and Sporty whils having room and easy access for two adults in the back. Descent sized boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Panoramic roof fantastic in summer, heated seats great in winter as the leather can be cold, but they warm you up before the heater starts to warm the cabin. Auto Box is a must, especially with this engine. Standard radio/CD could be better in a car of this calibre.
