Yes - Not a lot can compare. The AMG versions do not offer a lot more if you want to keep your licence

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonably good. They were on the lookout for a replacement for my CL500 on my request. Purchased "blind" since I live 600 miles away!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had a CL500 wanted the bigger engine
What was the dealer like?
Large English south coast main dealer with several outlets. Good enough - not exceptional.

Fine, if you can find a double slot

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
SRS red warning (airbags). Local main agent changed module under warranty. Engine diagnostic (yellow) warning. "Misfiring on cylinder 1" Module changed under warranty. Minor spots of through corrosion ( aluminium) on doors. Merc accepted partial responsibility under 30 year warranty. Had a main agent 80% respray including stone damaged bonnet for a total of £700. I was quite satisfied with that.
What's most practical about your car?
Leaves everything standing - including some Ferraris. Combination of sport and luxury.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The lot - especially soft close doors and double glazed glass.
