Some work required but expected for 13 year old car, nothing major. It's totally reliable. Fuel consumption around 38 mpg in town and 44 mpg mixed town and motorway. On a continental trip 50+ mpg achievable doing high speeds. Changed 18 inch alloys for 16 inch ones for improved ride and comfort.
