  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

A £39,500 car, bought for £7,750 at 99,000 miles. Now worth say £5,000 at 140k - excellent value.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Servicing probably slightly less than comparable premium manufacturers.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Not quite as wieldy as the saloon, but still great to drive.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

22-28 mpg. You have to work the gearbox to find the serious accelleration.

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

At over 140,000 miles, never misses a beat. Still serviced by MB main agents.

What other 10 year old car still cuts a dash like these?

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Superb ride on original wheels/tyres. Less so on retro fit alloys and (slightly) lower profile larger tyres. Self levelling rear suspension means it tackles speed humps with great aplomb!
