Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like discreet so this estate doesn't show off too much, but does have a lot to offer and has scared many boy racers off the lights :-).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My family loves it and my wife and her sister wish it could be kept but just not practical for the occasional use of the rear now that we have the VW Transporter as well.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I am in fact buying the saloon version new - the first time ever I have bought new - that is what impact this car has had on me.!
What are you likely to buy next?
Have ordered a CLS 350 AMG Sport - basically the salon version of my estate car.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt that I had a good deal and that the car was value for money for what it provided - this was not the normal Avantgarde or.Elegance model and so came loaded with all the extras that I wanted - basically a AMG estate with the diesel engine!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The dealership was very professional as you would expect and both of us got what we wanted out of the deal.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth and very refined....I am not a diesel lover but this car has been great - still would not drop below a 6 cylinder engine though!
What's it like to park?
No problems with parking with front and rear sensors and as it is the same size as our VW Transporter the size was never a problem for parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A small issue that was covered by the Tier 1 warranty but since then nothing at all, in fact it has been cheaper to run (excluding fuel) than a VW Passat.
What's most practical about your car?
It can swallow people and luggage, but still cruise to Amsterdam and back as if it is a trip down to the shops.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Comand was the best thing on this car with the full Bluetooth phone system, ipod, six disc multi changer, sat nav, DVD player etc - handy when waiting for ferries!
