Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (2015 - 2022) GLC 250d AMG Line 5d Auto Owner Review

When I purchased my car in September, the weather was still mild. However, once the cold mornings arrived, I experienced serious “crabbing” on the front wheels when manoeuvring at full lock which was very violent. I contacted the dealership, who knew all about this problem and arranged to have a steering modification done under warranty and had my car for 2 days to carry this out. When I got it back, the problem was still there and no better. I contacted the dealership again and found out from their senior mechanic that this problem is even on brand new GLC models and every other 4 Matic model Mercedes produces. Unbelievable but very true. I then tried unsuccessfully to return the car through the dealership and Mercedes direct. Having owned 4x4 vehicles for over 40 years, I have never had one that performs like this Mercedes. I have now sold my GLC and would never consider buying another Mercedes again.
