My car didn't cost much to buy and is a toy rather than a work horse. We have toured France in it many times and it is great fun. The mechanical nuts and bolts stuff is of a very high standard but the electrics are very poor. It always make me smile when I drive it.
My other car is a Tesla but I prefer the Merc.
One of the problems with a low cost Merc is that if you need any spares they can be a high proportion of what the car cost. An genuine exhaust is over £1500.
The body work on them around the wheel arches is not great. If you rate it smiles vs miles, then mine dosnt owe me a penny.
