Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster (1996 - 2004) 200K 2d Tip Auto (04) Owner Review

It looks stunning, better I think than the later models, and with the best boot space of all the SLK's. Later models (including the SL) have a flimsy bit of trim in the boot to limit storage so that the roof can still fold into the boot, which is always tatty on used cars - yuk. Economical to drive (if you're sensible about it) and comfortable. Recirculating ball steering system is not modern and feels it, but its still precise. I had rear speakers added (into dedicated holes, with wires, already present under the carpet in the body behind the seats) to transform the sound from the radio - wonderful. A fantastic little car.
