  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

That I like driving and, because I do a lot of it, need to do so in comfort and style... while also still liking a bit of fun!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Initial reactions were 'not another MG' but when you've had one, you'll keep on buying them ! Despite the slight bit of ribbing, they love the design and interior.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I would.... because you get so much car for your money. It puts a smile on your face every morning when you see it then again when you get in and turn on the ignition. You generally keep smiling throughout the whole journey.

What are you likely to buy next?

I imagine another MG ZT but I'll probably go for the Tourer next time...Might look out for a diesel as well because of cost of petrol at the moment.

    £1,200

    October 2011

I bought privately. It was a good deal because the car was not in the best condition when I bought it.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had owned an MG before so wanted another!

    What was the dealer like?

I think he just wanted a quick sell.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Great ! It's got plenty of 'go' in it, especially in the lower gears. The suspension is hard but that's how I like it. Steering is very good - light and responsive. The wide tyres give good grip.

    What's it like to park?

    Fine. No problems at all.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

The back-box of the exhaust corroded. The rear windscreen seal has come off. The stereo controls on the steering wheel don't work.

What's most practical about your car?

Size. For a saloon, it's roomy in the front and the boot is a good size, especially with back seats folded down.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The 6 CD multi changer is always handy!
