In their own words

Car was purchased due to the advertised low emissions and high MPG. Of course this was a fallacy but I still achieved 48 Mpg (including the cost of electricity) which for a large 4x4 was excellent. (as long as you did not press too hard on the accelerator then it dwindled rapidly). Was supposed to have 30+miles on electric only. Rarely saw more than 21 miles available and on a cold winters morning it would be as low as 15 miles if you switched the heater on. (Trick was to use the heated seats and steering wheel instead, but this did not clear the screen). The car was okay but the fit and finish was not that of a £40k+ car at the time. Interior had some cheap carpeting and loose ends, a long way behind Landrover and even well behind Kia. Paint appeared to be soft, easily scratched and chipped. One surprise was the driving experience, drove very smoothly, not an enormous amount of body roll for a tall car and kept up with traffic. Service from local main dealer was very good, the only failure was the charge cable in 4+ years of use. No room for a spare wheel unless you keep it in the boot, (due to the batteries), and the pump and fluid supplied was next to useless, so if you get a puncture you will need recovery. Overall a good car, could be excellent but some poor quality parts let it down.
