In their own words

Exceptional value for money when I bought our PHEV (£5000 Government incentive + Dealer discount - saved over £9000). I do a lot of small journeys & charge the car each night on an Economy 7 rate which works out at approx. 60p a night. Build quality & reliability have been excellent. I get about 22 - 25 miles on a full charge. On longer journeys (we regularly travel to Hampshire from the Midlands) we get 35 - 38 mpg, but I knew that this would be an issue when I bought the car. I've had a home charger installed for ease of use which cost £200, but this has been the best choice for me. I also changed my Electricity provider to Ecotricity recently as they offer 52 free fast charges if you're a Customer & they have charging stations on most of the U.K. Motorway network. All in all I have found the PHEV to be an exceptional SUV & it has the added bonus of being 4 wheel drive (although a 4 x 4 not in the Shogun / Land Rover sense !)
