Just the one unit, a 2.0 litre turbocharged lump pushing out 197bhp to the rear wheels through a limited slip differential. Delivery is refined enough to dull the impression of speed, but add in some other road users and you’ll soon realise that this is a very strong performer. Many are automatics, but the enthusiast should seek out the manual gearbox.

The ride is comfortable enough to make long journeys relaxing, but with all that power going straight to the back wheels there is plenty of potential to get the rear end sliding. Because of this, the 200SX is the sort of car that keen drivers will appreciate, whilst the inexperienced may find it intimidating in slippery conditions.
