In their own words

A Nissan 350z is always going to be a special car on the UK roads. You're choosing this car because not only does your life allow for a 2 seater but also a more focused, characteristic driving experience. Right from the moment you get in you're faced with a thoughtful interior, although at this age, potentially a bit tatty, with great supportive seats and gauges that feel more like a race car than a standard sedan. The engine fires up and draws heads immediately. The gears well placed together and a very distinctive experience. Loads of torque down low and a fantastic sound. I never had a problem with oil-burn or 5th gear or any of the other woes reported, it's easily been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. This all sounds great, right? Well, it's complicated. I'm still not sure who this car is for. From the get-go, the suspension is softer than my previous mini cooper so if you need precision, this and the weight, bring the car down, you really do feel it. The boot space is limited due to the cross-member so good luck fitting a Touring amount of luggage. MPG's? 27 and I baby mine. Power is in a very usable rev range, although in this country it's sort of on the edge of being too easy to lose your license in. The image you get is mixed, half of the people say what is it and the other half think you're a boy racer. Also Nissan, a tape deck in 07? Bose is a definite must in picking spec. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. But it's not a car for everyone, but I suppose that's something I really enjoy about it, you don't see them. Ultimately it's a special car. Why go for one of these over a Boxster/cayman or TT? Honestly just go for a drive. Go for a tidy GT that hasn't been crashed, modded, or worse of all sat in a garage, and it might be the best car you ever own. Or you might think you'd have preferred a german badge on the wheel, but you'll always wonder what could have been.
