Other Nissan Micra (2003 - 2010) models:

  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

It says I wanted a convertible without looking like a ten-bob millionaire! I wanted a convertible that wasn't regularly seen sporting a Playboy bunny on the boot like the 206cc and the Tigras! Its quirky for someone who is only 20 to be driving 'an old womans' car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all love it and alot have been really suprised by the fancy options and the roof just amazes them!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Deffinitely, everytime I get in it she always puts a smile on my face!

What are you likely to buy next?

Im hoping to keep this for a good few years its basically like a new car. But when I do change I would love a Nissan Juke.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

I love it, it can be a bit rattley/noisy on overly bumpy roads but its nothing you can't live with and the little throaty grr! you get more than makes up for it. Feels very nippy and tidy in the corners despite the weight of the roof mechanisms. My boyfriend even likes it and he drives a Renaultsport Clio 197!

    What's it like to park?

Super easy, I had to get used to having a boot but once I was used to it I had no problems :)

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong so far. Fingers crossed!

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is huge! The lockable storage under the passenger seat is fab and the take-away hook holds my bag perfectly :)

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Obviously the roof, folds up/down in 21 second by just holding the switch. Keyless entry has become one of those things that I can no longer imagine not having. The Essenza is deffinately the one to go for, used they are pretty much the same price but you get soo much more for your money. Love the colour of mine too, a bit different to the blue ones you always see.
